The school year is now in full swing, but we'll take a pause to look back to our summer breaks and everything our team members got up to. Activities ranged from athletic camps to summer courses. However, the majority of the team spent time teaching at Galaxy Robotics, a summer camp created by the Robohawks founders in order to teach elementary school students the fundamentals of robotics and engeneering. Just this year we added a programing section to our regular robotics, in which we explored the basics of Python and animation.
I was one of these counselers, for my second year, and got the chance to work with some of the brightest young minds I've met. I look forward to going up against them in future competitions! One of the greatest things about teaching is how excited the children get when they are able to drive the robot for the first time. On top of this it's a great opportunity for the team members to learn even more about robotics. It's interesting to find just how much you are able to learn when you teach.

After almost a month of work from several dedicated Robohawks parents and members the website is up and running! We'd like to send out a special thanks to Bradley Wu and Juliana Wong who helped write sections and organize the different pages.
