Robohawks in Elementary School...

Several of our High School members coordinated work with technical departments in the lower divisions of the Head-Royce community in order to inspire the engineering and computer programming minds in the next generation. Together they built and programmed a pair of robots (pictured below) out of Lego Mindstorm kits. The robots were later demonstrated at division assemblies to promote new electives Head-Royce is beginning to offer. This was a wonderful experience to get to work with both the robots and other students at our school and we are hoping that we will get the chance to do more of this type of work in the future.
